March Writing Updates

Just wanted to hash out what I’ve been up to with my actual writing activities recently. On my other blog I often mentioned writing projects I was thinking about or currently working on, and I want to keep that vein going.

I decided to try my luck with Writer’s of The Future and worked furiously this week to get a short story completed for this quarter. A couple other short stories of mine are out making rounds to some sweet magazines as well. I’ll have to let you know if anything bears fruit.

Currently I have several new story seeds in the works. I’ve found that dabbling in another project is nice when I’m stuck on one story, but it can also be distracting if I’m not sure which story to prioritize and complete first. I’ll keep you posted on developments.

I also decided to sign up for this Blogging From A to Z Challenge taking place the month of April. It’s a little crazy to think about blogging every day, but I’m going to give it a try. For a month, at least. :-) I’ll include the “A-to-Z Challenge” tag and links to the website in my posts so you can check out other great blogs that are participating.

Lastly, Happy Easter to everyone celebrating the holiday.
